Where is my refund? If you e-filed your return through direct deposit, you should receive your refund between two to three weeks. If you chose to file a paper return, your refund check will be issued within six to eight weeks. If you e-filed and chose to receive your refund by check, you should receive it between three to four weeks.

Track Your Amended Return

This service provides the status of Form 1040X Amended Tax Return for the current year and up to three prior years. You can generally expect your amended return to be processed up to 12 weeks from the date it is received by the IRS. It can take up to three (3) weeks from the date you mailed it to show up in our system.
